A CENTRE OF GOLF

Amathus Beach Hotel Paphos has been appointed the official winter base of the Professional Golf Association of Germany. This recognition speaks both to our location as a golfing destination and to our dedication to our golfing guests.

There are three world-class golf courses within an easy drive of our resort: Aphrodite Hills, Tsada Golf Club and Secret Valley Golf Club.

APHRODITE HILLS

Aphrodite Hills is a magnificent 18-hole golf course in Paphos designed by acclaimed course architect Cabell B. Robinson. The course follows the contours of the two plateaux, with challenging fairways meandering though lakes, olive and carob trees. The course ends with the 18th green, overlooking the spectacular waters of the Mediterranean.

TSADA GOLF CLUB

Located on the hills of Tsada, about 15 km northeast of Paphos, this golf course is set on the grounds of a twelfth-century monastery. Designed by Donald Steel, the course is about 550 metres above sea level, allowing for cooling off-shore breezes in the summer.

SECRET VALLEY GOLF CLUB

Secret Valley Golf Club is located 18 km east of Paphos. An 18-hole championship golf course, it’s set amid mature trees and beautiful sculpted rock formations.

SERVICES FOR OUR GOLFING GUESTS

We offer special services for all guests wanting to play golf in Paphos. Our hotel provides golf club lockers, with club-washing facilities, for safe and easy storage of your clubs.  

We will also book your tee-off times and provide you with special rates at any of the three local courses. Additionally, we offer taxi vouchers for reduced return fares between the hotel and the golf courses.
